Football Manager 2011 announced

Sega has unveiled the upcoming entry into their ongoing soccer series, Football Manager. Clumsyorchid of Sega Blog promises that this iteration will be stuffed with new and improved features, including an impressive realistic contract negotiation system,

For the first time ever, aspiring managers can now negotiate contracts with players in real time. And by working with a multitude of real-life football agents, Sports Interactive gained an insight as to how these negotiations can be made as realistic as possible in-game. Prepare to meet different types of agents in your contract talks; each with their own personality so will therefore need a different approach.

Other updates include detailed player-interaction, a polishing of the intricate training system, a massive graphical update, a new dynamic league reputation feature, and a completely overhauled customizable media module that keeps managers in tune with the goings on in the soccer world.

It takes a lot to get me interested in anything involving sports, let alone a manager sim.  I gotta say though, that contract negotiation thing sounds pretty interesting.  I’d love to steer a negotiation into horrible places with the sleaziest, greasiest of recruiters.
