Sega trademarks new Phantasy Star titles

That’s right Phantasy Star fans, get excited! Sega has recently trademarked two names for upcoming Phantasy Star games and they are: Phantasy Star: Eternal Planets and Phantasy Star: Eternal Hunters. By the sounds of this it’ll probably be an series of games set in the same universe.

Also I can probably guess that these won’t be online, since Phantasy Star Online 2 was announced very recently. But who knows? These could be puzzle games set in the depths of hell, staring a robot made of wool, and the name Phantasy Star doesn’t even relate to it. I doubt that but my point is that all we have are names at the moment. Delicious, teasing names.

  1. Hmm, maybe a pair of DS/DS3D games a la Pokemon? Hopefully not, but with the two titles so similar and registered at the same time, I wouldn’t doubt it…
