Sorry if you like playing a female character, as this is a male only costume item coming to the next PSP iteration. Maybe you don’t mind not fighting in the coolest robot suit of the last decade, though if that’s true I don’t know how we can be friends anymore.
If that does set your fighting soul ablaze though, you’ll also be happy to know that the Gainax cameos don’t stop there in Infinity, as plenty of Evangelion plug suits/school uniforms will be available to wear for both sexes as well as the Gurren Lagann weapons in the form of the Gurren Boomerang and Giga Drill. I’m not exactly sure what kind of weapon class the Giga Drill falls under, but I’m fairly sure I will spec my prospective hunter entirely around that armament type.
As many anime/manga cameos made it into the internation release of PSP2 it’s looking hopeful that these will make the jump as well. Between this and the licensed cameos in Zettai Hero Project I’m really enjoying not having to miss out on a lot of awesome bonuses that we used to. We’re probably a ways off getting one of the main Super Robot Wars games, but we’re definitely closer than we’ve ever been before.
