Sega Mega Drive gets a new RPG, Pier Solar!

That’s right, there’s a new Sega Mega Drive/ Genesis game! Pier Solar is an independently made RPG which had it’s humble beginnings on an internet forum. From there it’s evolved into the biggest game on the system, spotting an impressive 64 meg cartridge. Of course there has been a heavy demand for this game so they have run out but you can check up, or order another copy on it’s official website.

Personally, I like the fact that there are still people making games for it. But the fact that it’s a full RPG is amazing in itself. But what do you think? Hit the jump to view the trailer and tell me what you think in the comments!

  1. Just bought it. I’m pretty excited to try this out.

  2. Oh wow! Congratulations guys!

  3. I’ve been waiting for this game for a little while now and I’m majorly excited about it! So fucking pumped. I’d have it right now if I weren’t broke. I love how it was originally a homebrew game and then expanded drastically into what it is today. It shows what a small group of devoted developers can accomplish.

Anyway, once I’ve got some money in my pocket again, I’ll definitely be picking this up.

  4. I preordered this game more than a year ago. I wonder when I can expect to get confirmation. I paid through paypal, So i hope i didn’t get screwed.
