Sega announces results of Japanese relief efforts

Between their contributions from auctions on eBay, the Sonic iOS sale, and Football Manager 2011, Sega has been putting a great deal of effort in providing relief to Japan. Sega has announced today that they have raised over $250,000 for the Red Cross.  The company will continue to raise money for Japan via their eBay auctions, which continue to be updated with items from Sega and the private collections of their employees.

I’m so elated to see Sega escape the heartless stereotype bestowed upon many corporations.  Did you help contribute to Japan via Sega’s efforts?

  1. Good job, SEGA! I have to say, that “play for japan” image with the D-pad as the red cross symbol is awesome.
