Hyperdimension Neptunia MK 2 coming to the West, February 2012

Anime styled videogame satire fans will be pleased to note that the sequel to Hyperdimension Neptunia has finally gotten a US release date. Hyperdimension Neptunia MK 2 has recently been confirmed for a US release date of February 2012. No actual day yet but we can all be assured that the game is coming to Western shores early 2012.

The game pokes fun at console wars and features a parody of the Sega Dreamcast as a main character. Keiji Inafune will even have a cameo. How cool is that? So did you like the first enough to want this sequel? Could you just not care? Well let me know what you think in the comments!

  1. Okay, just so I get this straight. Hyperdimension Neptunia MK 2 with a US release date? Yes. Valkyria Chronicles III with a US release date? No.

    I hate this world.

  2. I begged my mom for the first one for christmas, is there a spesh one with extras for europe?
I’ll totally buy the spesh one if I enjoy the first one! ^^

  3. I tried to play the first one and it was pretty horrible. Quite possible the worst JRPG I’ve ever played and the only thing that made it stand out was the concept of the game. Hopefully the sequel improves on the gameplay as the concept is still strong.
