Creative Assembly is working on an Alien game for next-gen consoles

According to a job listing on their homepage, Creative Assembly is looking for somebody who could work on a “AAA multi-platform title on current and future generation consoles set in the Alien universe.” While the job listing itself seems to focus more on multiplayer, it’d pretty much the first time we have solid proof that Creative Assembly is working on a game based on the ‘Alien’-franchise. Also, while it says “Next-Gen”, that could mean the game is in development for the next Xbox and PlayStation, or it could mean it is in development for current HD-Systems and the upcoming Wii U.

There have been several hints already, mainly that it would be a game just like Dead Space, which seems somewhat logical, since the studio has had some experience with genres outside of the RTS-genre. The first hints have been dropped over a year ago, but I doubt we’ll see anything of the game before Colonial Marines is released, since it could potentially steal its thunder at E3.
