The best Dreamcast promo art of 2012: Gunlord and Redux

And also the only promo art of 2012! Woo! Seriously though, this is some nice stuff. Recently released game, Gunlord, and successful Kickstarter project, Redux: Dark Matters, are a few of the awesome indie Dreamcast titles to grace Sega fans this year. Halil Ural drew the cover art for the standard and limited edition (seen above) of Gunlord, while Gonzalo Ordóñez Arias supplied a page for the Gunlord manual, as well some Redux artwork, which can be found on their Deviant Art sites! Be sure to let us know what you think. My desktop is now proudly slaying a dragon with a laser.

  1. Why oh why can’t they have artwork like this for practically every game that comes out that doesn’t take itself too seriously.

I suppose I’ve just answered my own question as most modern shooters of any kind DO take themselves too seriously.

It’s time for Smash TV II, gentlemen.

  2. I agree completely, Michael. The only games that have amazing artwork are RPG’s now a days, and that artwork is only included if you get an overpriced special edition with an artbook.

  3. Sometimes living in Europe helps too.

  4. Are you implying that you’re going to buy this game for me? *winkwinknudgenudge*
