Under Defeat HD: Deluxe Edition gets a new trailer

The deluxe edition of Under Defeat HD for the PS3 has a new trailer, as seen above, which was recently posted on the Sony Playstation blog. As well as being the first opportunity for Northern Americans to play the unofficially released Dreamcast classic, its HD release comes with a shed load of additional features such as two-player mode and ‘New Order’ mode which extends the action into a 16:9 aspect ratio.

Both the physical release and the PSN version will be priced at $29.99, although the psychical release comes with its own shed load of goodies including a soundtrack, an art book, all previously released DLC and patches from the Japanese and European versions, and a letter from the game’s executive producer, Hiroyuki Maruyama.

The game is set for release this ‘this fall’ and sounds like an absolute steal for North American shoot ’em up fans. Think you’ll pick it up? Let us know in the comments section!

  1. I’m still furious that I paid $75 to import this game earlier this year. Sigh.

    • Was that the Japanese or European version? I can’t say that I even saw this game available where I live, it’s a pity these games get snowed under by the AAA stuff.

So noiseredux, is it a goodun’?
