Hatsune Miku to appear in PS Vita social networking app

Hatsune Miku will make an appearance in Everyone Together Friend Network, a social networking application for the PS Vita featuring Japanese Sony mascot Toro (a.k.a. Sony cat). The application allows users to create an avatar that can interact with those on friends’ PS Vitas.

While the app itself is free, extra content is not, with the Hatsune Miku add-on costing a full 1,200 yen ($15). Content includes a special Hatsune themed dungeon as well as other items that can be used to dress up Toro or decorate player cards.

It doesn’t seem as though Sega have any part in developing this content, although they have found success in the Japanese only Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F released earlier this year. Extra screen shots can be seen after the jump.

  1. Uh-oh. Somebody check Bradcals pulse. I think he just fainted from a joy-gasm… d(^-<)b

    • Every time I check back on the site I expect to see some sort of joyous explosion of words from that fellow. He’s probably hiding in a crate on a tanker heading for Japan.
