Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed demo is live on XBLA

If you are still hesitant on whether or not you are ready to jump into the insane world of Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed, then you now have the opportunity to try it out. For Xbox Live Gold members only, the Transformed demo is available and features 2 events from the career mode, with Sonic the only available racer. Sonic can grace his presents on the tracks inspired by Golden Axe and Panzer Dragoon. The demo is exclusive to Gold members until the 23rd, after which it should be available to anyone on Xbox Live. No word yet on a PS3 demo. I know I will be staying away from the demo since I plan on getting the game already, but has anyone tried it out yet? Let us know below!

  1. What, is this supposed to be Microsoft justifying Xbox Live Gold? So, now I have to pay to play adverts before everyone else?

    Eh. It’s not the game’s fault. I hope it’s a goodun’.

    • I agree it’s pathetic. If Sony added party chat to PSN then I would almost abandon my 360 all together, because it truly annoys me just to turn my Xbox on and see all those ads now.

  2. It was pretty fun, I have to get used to the vehicle changes. Sometimes I felt I would rather race the track as a car the entire way, but the different stuff was really cool

As a matter o’ fact, I’m going to try again right now

    • I’ve been hearing that driving in boats and planes doesn’t work as well as the on-road segments, I hope it’s not too bad.

Glad you’re having fun though otherwise Stooball, keep us posted.

      • I got the full game yesterday and I’m having a lot of fun. This might be my favorite Sega game this year. I agree with Stooball that the on road segments are the best but there are some very good water and air segments as well. The NiGHTS level is mostly air and I found it to be one of my favorite levels so far. I can confidently say this is the most fun I’ve had with a kart racer and I really enjoyed the previous game.
