Hero Bank’s special moves are all about the money

SEGA ADDICTS Hero Bank

New details emerge about Sega’s intriguing 3DS action game called Hero Bank. This time we learn more about special moves you will be using in the virtual fighting arena of Hero Bank.

The game’s protagonist Kaito has the ability to unlock a special mode within himself called “Enter The Gold”. It gives Kaito incredible speed and the power to collect all the cash lying around the ring (kind of like Ratchet & Clank’s The Bolt Grabber). Although, as a trade off, his attacks do less damage. During “Enter The Gold” mode you can also buy various special moves like God Speed (which you gives you even more speed) and Mega Crash Fumes (which lets you smash your head into the ground, as if apologizing, only for your forehead bangs to shoot out of the ground in a surprise attack).

Hero Bank is all about fighting a good fight, while looking good, so you can get cash from spectators and use it on buying all kinds of exciting special moves. Hero Bank pretty much takes the concept of microtransactions and makes an action game mechanic out of it. I didn’t think I’d every say this about anything even remotely related to microtransactions, but it sounds awesome.
