Hyperdimension Neptunia: Producing Perfection is Coming To the West

The series that we love to hate’s coming back to western shores. In a surprising announcement, Neptunia’s idol management spinoff, Hyperdimension Neptunia: Producing Perfection has been announced for a late 2014 release on the Vita in Europe and America.

Of all the various Neptunia spinoffs being worked on as of late, this was the one I personally didn’t expect to see show up here. While it’s a popular genre in Japan and Europe, management simulators don’t particularly do well in America, so I’m rather shocked they’ve decided to greenlight it here. It’ll be interesting to see how it does.

Is anyone else hyped? Or at least morbidly curious? Feel free to tell us in the comments!

  1. “Sure, you can have some PRIVATE TIME with the Neptunia cast and TAP THEM in VARIOUS AREAS, but they’ll get PISSED if you tap them the WRONG WAY!”

Good gosh….. why do I want to play this? I blame you somehow, Brett.

  2. Day 1 purchase, but ONLY because IdolM@s is lacking any foreseeable Western release. I really hope the PS3 gets the PSP treatment where ATLUS, NIS, and XSeed go mental localizing for the platform after it’s dead.

    • The whole idea of the game honestly has me intrigued. Maybe it’s the musician part of me. I don’t know. Either way I still feel dirty for wanting to play this.
