Operation Rainfall may try to bring some Japanese Sega games to the West

Yak5

Known for their success in bringing Xenoblade Chronicles, The Last Story, and Pandora’s Tower to the West, Operation Rainfall has a few more games in their sights, and from more than just one company. One of those companies is Sega, and this time around the games in mind are bit more broad in genre. The plan is to localize one game from a list of games. The list includes:

1. Valkyria Chronicles III (PSP)

2. Yakuza 5 (PS3)

3. Yakuza 1 & 2 HD (Wii U, PS3)

4. Shining Hearts (PSP)

This time around, Operation Rainfall is partnering with a company called Language Automation Inc. (LAI), who offers a discount to game companies for the localization process. To vote, head over to the OpRainfall Website. I’ve already cast my vote. Which one would like to see localized?

  1. Well this is cool, I voted for Yakuza HD by default since it’s the only one not on the PSP or PS3. Otherwise it’d have been Valkyria Chronicles.
