Sega and Arkedo have recently announced they are working together on a new project called Project Hell Yeah! Not much is known about the game beyond that it has an awesome name and it’s been in development for nine months. Mark Hayes, CEO of SEGA Europe and SEGA America had this to say about the partnership:
“We’re absolutely delighted to have signed Arkedo”, said Mike Hayes, CEO for SEGA of Europe and SEGA of America. “Arkedo have proved to be at the forefront of innovative design and “Project Hell Yeah!” is sure to continue this trend.”
Arkedo has released some small bits of juicy knowledge about the game on their own blog. This is my favorite snippet:
You know why we are enjoying making “Project Hell Yeah!” so much?
Because there will be TONS of different monsters in it. Provided of course the average weight of a monster is 10 kilos -or 20 pounds for our British friends. Thinking of it, a lot of our monsters are much heavier than this. Alright, let’s settle for MEGATONS of monsters, shall we?
Both sides of the partnership seem really excited about it. I’m looking forward to finding out more about what Project Hell Yeah! is, and having an excuse to say that in some news posts.

This is very good news indeed! Big Bang Mini was a really innovative and addictive little game. Can’t wait to see what they can brew up within Sega’s walls.
