I’m pretty confident that Sony likes Japan a lot more than any other country between the Yakuza 1 & 2 HD re-releases, sweet custom systems, and now Virtual On Marz getting a re-release on the PlayStation Network. It’s no real big surprise though since the series is most successful in that region, but dang it’d be cool to play yet another Virtual On game that I am too lazy to track down physically. Hot on their heels, Hori is crafting their third model of the Twin Stick controller, similarly to what they did when Virtual On Force released on XBLA. Although honestly, if any controller was ever made for this game it would be the symmetrical PS3 Dualshock 3 in my opinion. So for a measely price of 30, 000 Yen ($380), you could experience the arcade phenomenon all over again, or for the first time. Anyone else still contemplating creating a Japanese PSN account if they haven’t already? Let us know in the comments below!
