If you ask me, the popular iOS app Sonic Jump fails in comparison to it’s brother Sonic Dash. It had better production value for one thing and while Sonic Jump isn’t terrible, it definitely lacks the addictive replay value of the aforementioned app. However this may change as Sonic Jump is receiving the sequel treatment with Sonic Dash Fever!
The new updated version will feature several new improvements, the most appreciated being upgraded game mechanics and new stages. There’s also going to be a Chao mini-game. That’s right, an oddity from Sonic Adventure 2 is being dragged into the future on a touch device. What a world we live in.
While the game is out in Canada all Sega is saying about a worldwide release is that it will be out in the UK and America later this year. Yes it’s vague, but seeing as it’s already out in our favourite maple loving climate, I don’t think we’ll have to wait long. Until then we can just play the original… or the superior Sonic Dash. Your choice.
