Alien: Isolation is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated and important games associated with Sega in recent years. Sega has just released a new behind-the-scenes video showing the original 1979 cast returning to their iconic roles for the game’s upcoming Nostromo Edition.
To be honest, I don’t know why people aren’t making a bigger deal about this. I’m not even aware if anything like this has been done before. Getting the entire original cast together for a whole game is quite remarkable, doing it for a DLC supplement almost makes it look too easy. This should be huge news, but I wonder if people are still grasping with the concept. Luckily this new video confirms this highly ambitious project.
Creative Assembly is doing some incredible stuff with this game. They had my money when they showed off how they put all UI assets through a VHS.
The Nostromo Edition is, for now, exclusively available with preorders of Alien: Isolation, which comes out on October 7th, 2014.
What do you think? Are you buying this? If not, can we just chat about Alien?
