Indie developer Senile Team is the latest to add to orange swirl’s awesome library, bringing us Polyko’s Super Jelly Bean Quest in the Sketchbook of Illusion (yes, that whole thing is the title). Originally developed by HotPengu, this entertaining little game puts you in the shoes of Polyko, an artist who falls into a world filled with his own creations. Sounds like a cutesy, more lighthearted Comix Zone, doesn’t it?
Perhaps the coolest bit of this whole release is the fact that it’s completely free–just download it, burn it onto a CD, and voila! You’ve got yourself a brand new entry in your Dreamcast library. I’ve been playing it for a few minutes now, and I can say it’s a charming little distraction. It’s not the deepest or most original game, but hey, you can play it on your freakin’ Dreamcast. If you don’t want to go through the effort of burning a CD, I suppose you can go here and play the original game. But why would you want to do that?
