That’s right folks. Sega is literally attempting to get rid of all low scoring Sonic games. What? Well apparently they want as few Sonic games on store shelves as possible, as to avoid confusion. But this just sounds like an excuse to pretend such abominations like Sonic 06 never existed.
Jurgen Post (Sega’s senior vice president of EMEA) has clarified this. “Any Sonic game with an average Metacritic has been de-listed. We have to do this and increase the value of the brand.”
Sounds like a good idea to me! Personally I think this is a good decision. At least Sega knows that our beloved hedgehog hasn’t been through the best of times. But at the same time can you really de-list history? Let me know what you think in the comments.

SEGA can do better by rewinding time and never releasing those games in the first place!
We’ll never forget them, SEGA! You can’t hide your past mistakes and we aren’t going to allow you to ignore them!!!
