I love old games. There is a reason why half of what I post on this site seems to be a retro article of some sort. All the same, even I can look at Sega’s near constant trips back to the Megadrive / Genesis library and wonder if they ever get tired of the same old, same old.
THIS is a retro collection that anyone should be able to get behind. Sega is releasing “Sega Memorial Selection” for Japanese PS3’s. It is a collection of five classic Sega arcade games such as Tranquilizer Gun, and Congo Bongo. The games will be included in both their original forms and a heavily upgraded arranged version.
The collection is being released as a PS2 Classic so I don’t know what this means for those of us outside of Japan. Hopefully this gets localized as there are still those of us who remember when Sega was first and foremost an arcade company.
