Even blast processing can't handle High Resolution Sonic CD!
Since Sonic CD is coming to a downloadable platform near you very soon, there’s been quite some talk about which Soundtrack will be chosen. However, another neat addition is a High Resolution mode that is completely optional and can be switched on and off the fly. Kotaku has a neat little clip of it in action, so you might wanna check that out.
That does look better than the original Genesis games with their “smoothing” mode on.
Not a huge deal to me since I still rotate my classic games regularly, but I agree it looks better than what the usual smoothing job
