Sega vs Capcom, Part XIV: What Is the Secret to Your Power?

Well, well!  Back for more, eh?  Well, you’d better be careful, because if you hit the jump, you’ll be cursed.  Don’t believe me?  Then go for it.  What are you afraid of?

Oh, dang.  You just got cursed.  Now you’re going to turn into a Lizard-Man, and you’ll breathe fire and fight giant dragons.  Wait, that’s not a curse–that’s awesome!  I want to breathe fire and fight giant dragons.  No fair.

Oh, uh… Wonderboy.  That’s what all this was supposed to be leading up to.  Yeah.  ‘Cause in Wonderboy III, he–ah, screw it.  Lookit the picture.

Interestingly enough, after Shinobi, Wonderboy was probably the first of Sega’s franchise characters I was exposed to, through Wonderboy In Monster Land.  What?  That’s not intereting?  Yeah, you’re probably right.  Perhaps you’ll find these other Sega vs Capcom characters more interesting.  Have a look, punk!  And be back here next week for another character!

  1. It would be nice to see Bare Knucle characters on such a franchise
just wondering Axel vs Ryu =~D

  2. Ha, ha–indeed! Axel’s already in the game, actually–check out the links at the end of the article! 😀 I was thinking of adding Shiva, too. We need some villains in there!

  3. Badass list, all hail Mouse-man! But this really needs to have some kind of move with the skateboard, or at least something with the little tomahawks that he threw in the first game.

  4. Oh, that’s right! I forgot about his jungle roots. I never got to play those, and I guess when Wonderboy III came out and you could change into animal people, I never looked back. 😀
