Interestingly enough, after Shinobi, Wonderboy was probably the first of Sega’s franchise characters I was exposed to, through Wonderboy In Monster Land. What? That’s not intereting? Badass list, all hail Mouse-man! But this really needs to have some kind of move with the skateboard, or at least something with the little tomahawks that he threw in the first game.
Oh, that’s right! I forgot about his jungle roots. I never got to play those, and I guess when Wonderboy III came out and you could change into animal people, I never looked back. 😀
