It’s amazing how susceptible I am to the awesomeness of trailers. After the great character trailer we got a few weeks back, my interest in Double Fine’s The Cave skyrocketed. Now, with this second look at the game’s various personalities, I’m sailing through the damn stratosphere.
Last time, we were introduced to The Hillbilly, The Monk, The Scientist, and The Twins. This new trailer introduces us to the rest of the seven characters from the game, including The Adventurer, The Knight, The Time Traveler, and The Twins…again. It looks like each character has their own distinct type of gameplay, so hopefully that complexity ends up being a boon and not a muddled curse.
Whatever the case, for Double Fine and Monkey Island fans, 2013 can’t get here fast enough.
