We’ll be recording part 10 of our Acclaim series tonight and we’re on the hunt for some listener questions. Games to be discussed are:
WWF In Your House (Saturn)
Alien Trilogy (Saturn)
College Slam (Genesis/Saturn)
NFL Quarterback Club 97 (Saturn)
Darius Gaiden (Saturn)
Starfighter 3000 (Saturn)
So, if you’ve got some questions/comments about these games, Acclaim and/or Sega in general, leave them in the comments below!
I’ll gladly take Kris’s place!
1. Did you miss me?
2. Do you think SEGA should stay away from making Alien games? If you disagree, please explain.
3. Were you surprised by the announcement of Duck Tails remastered?
4. Do you think, within the next few years, SEGA will only produce Digital titles?
5. What’s new with you all, haven’t listened to the past few podcasts. I know, shame on me!
hello!! long time listener just now post a couple of questions.
1. i only rent the alien trilogy game on saturn, the only thing i remember is that the walking was a little floaty but i dont think that it was a bad game. my question is which was the best version Saturn or psx ?
2. which of all the series of developer centric podcasts is the longest one that you did so far.
3. if some of the WWF Wrestlers was actually in your house right now, what piece of furniture that you own will be the most suitable to smash on another wrestler.
also i want to thank Kriss for introducing me to the parodius series and the cotton series on the sonic gems segment a while ago. great games!!
thank you keep up the good work
Also, happy Easter!
I was introduced to shumps in the arcade back in the day, can you say… Galaga. From there, I did own Darius Gaiden and another fun shooter…In the Hunt for the Sega Saturn. Both the shooters are great in my book. The graphics might look a little Metal Slug_ish from SNK not Radiant Silvergun_ish by Treasure. But the graphics were fine for me. The game play was fun fun. I did really like the sounds in these games to, spot on. Both games you fought sea creatures and other things but only one of the games showed positively that you were playing your character under water. I believe the series sold/did better when moved to the PlayStation the Sega Saturn died. So my question is “who did I sell my copies to”? I want them back now!
