Last month we brought you word that Sega had trademarked the best phrase in history, Samurai Bloodshow. The title is being launched in Japan for iPads, iPhones, and iPod Touches, and we’ve got our first look in the video above. It looks like a drag-and-drop strategy combat game with a simple Japanese art visual style. We’ll have to wait for more info on a western release.
Frankly, with a title like Samurai Bloodshow, I was hoping to be shown a little more blood. Dying samurais spurt out little fountains of gore, but the simplistic visuals don’t exactly lend themselves to heart-pounding combat. That being said, it does look like a pretty fun little iOS game. Reminds me quite a bit of those enjoyable Kessen games for PS2.
The game will be launched with three price tiers, including Free, Plus (350 Yen), and Complete (1200 Yen). What do you guys think? Interested in trying it out?
