While not about Thaksgiving specifically (whatever that is I unno, I’m British), this episode of The Sega Addicts Kids Table still celebrates the beloved American tradition because Stevie, Josh, and John talk about food for an extended amount of time! And is there really more to Thanksgiving than food? Didn’t think so!
But if the promise of baked bean troubles and ramen mayhem isn’t enough for you then you’ll be thrilled to find out that the gang also sit around the imaginary kids table this week to talk about the recent Project X Zone rumours and the Model2 Collection on XBLA. But it’s mostly about baked beans. What could be more delicious or entertaining?

And don’t forget to answer next weeks Newey Needs to Knowey! Tweet your titles for a Sega themed Goosebumps book at the official Sega Addicts twitter! The best answer will win a cool monster drawing from Josh himself! Neat!
I can’t believe it didn’t occur to me while we were recording, but Quantic Dream’s first game was actually really relevant to us–Omikron on the Dreamcast. How could we forget?
Also, I just realized I accidentally aped the Comedy Bang Bang podcast with my Newey Needs to Knowey this week. I didn’t realize I was basically doing the “would you rather” segment. Whoops.
That’s weird that you just mentioned Omikron, I was just trying to go to the forums to ask you guys if that holds up at all. I remember briefly owning it, and being a bit bored, but that type of game wasn’t my bag back then. Thought I might enjoy it now.
Excellent work fellas, and now I get the baked bean reference, YAAAAAY!
I loved Omikron back when it was released on the Dreamcast and still consider it to be one of my favorite Dreamcast games. It’s not as polished as Heavy Rain was but it’s much less linear and has more in common with Shenmue than Heavy Rain. However, the FPS and fighting sections are pretty clumsy even by Dreamcast era standards. Still, I really like the game and I wish Quantic Dream would go back to that series rather than what they’ve been doing lately.
I just spilled my entire bowel of ravioli on the stairs because I forgot how stairs operate, and I thought of this episode. Thank you, Sega Addicts Kids Table. Thank you.
