Sega Spectrum: The Forms remains, the Function never dies

the thinker sega addicts

I wake up this morning to find no news on the Sega Spectrum. The elusive, almost mythological Sega related announcement. The longer they waited, the more convoluted fans’ conclusions became.

“It’s a console! It’s an arcade board! It’s a digital streaming service!”

It is none of those things as today, June 13th 2013, the Sega Spectrum still does not exist.

I wrote a short poem about it. Enjoy.

C, M, Y, B, colours bright,
A console, service, games that stream?

Unknown the image hangs on white,
The Sega Spectrum haunts our dreams.
