SEGA launches Dreamcast Reprint site

SEGA launched the Dreamcast Reprint site to keep track of all the Dreamcast games that are being relaunched on XBLA and PSN. Right now only Sonic Adventure and Crazy Taxi are listed but I’m super excited to see this site fill out over the next year. Even though I keep my Dreamcast hooked up and play it regularly, re-releasing games can only be a good thing.

Can’t wait for more of my faves like Jet Set Radio, Chu Chu Rocket and Shenmue to show up.

  1. I want to see some of the old 3rd party titles from the Dreamcast on XLBA/PSN like Power Stone or Tech Romancer.

Sega lied to us. Sonic Adventure is the PC version with stuff stripped out and a new title screen. Very disappointing.

  3. I hope they will keep up like that. I never really played the Dreamcast as much as the other console. Only game I remember playing was a Gundam game.

  4. Site added to favorites. Oh yes, and the site mentioned was added right after. =)

If I were to have my choice of Dreamcast titles show up on XBLA, Skies of Arcadia would have to be #1, followed closely by Plasma Sword.

Also, why isn’t Marvel vs. Capcom 2 there? I believe that was the first Dreamcast remake that made it to XBLA.

  5. I am so okay with this! Of course I also have a Dreamcast, but it’ll be nice seeing the transfer. And people who didn’t own or grow up with the Dreamcast can finally own the games. Also, the transfer to digital pretty much immortalizes the games, so that’s good.

  6. Space Channel 5! Bring it to the current Gen.

  7. Chu Chu Rocket, Power Stone, Space Channel 5 are the ones I can think off the top of my head. Oh my god chu chu rocket online YES!

  8. Project Justice and Grandia 2 are on the top of my hopes for remakes

  9. Good stuff and glad to see. It looks like this is a wish list now so here’s my wish:

    Cannon Spike
    Sonic Shuffle
    Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure

    DO IT! DO IT NOW!
