Sega just sent out a press release stating that the ‘Sega Studios Australia’, formerly known as ‘The Creative Assembly Australia’, is now open for business. This is the same studio I already wrote about yesterday, that seems to be behind the development of the London 2012 Olympia game, which is not mentioned in this press release.
The studio was founded in 2002 and was involved with the development of some Total War titles, like Rome: Total War or Medieval II: Total War. Since 2006, the studio has been focusing mainly on developing technology. Let’s see, how their games will hold up on the market in the future…
Nice to see more developers in Australia but the London 2012 Olympia game? Come on!
