The single greatest thing about the Sonic Adventure games was the implementation of Chao Gardens and their ability to convince players to spend hundreds of hours handing those cute little blue guys different animals and coconuts just so was could see them smile and grow stronger.
Well, fan game Gigabowzer has seen a glaring hole in the Sonic fan game scene and has begun development on a project known as Chao Garden Online. I think the name says it all as this is a fully 3D standalone Chao Garden with multiplayer capabilities. No word yet on just how the game will work but color me excited. It’s been a long time since there’s been any Chao related goodness in recent Sonic games.
