He will always be known for creating Sonic the Hedgehog, but that doesn’t mean he can’t visit other beasts of the wild. Yes, I just referred to hedgehogs as “beasts.” Yuji Naka, and his company, Prope, are making a new game for iOS and Android entitled Real Whales. As seen in the video above, the game has you exploring different locations on the globe in hopes of taking the best photos of whales as they surface for air. After taking photos, you can look through your galleries and learn facts about each species.
So, what can I really say about this game? Is this really even a game? I think it’s more of an educational tool, and may be related to the Real Animals games.
Is it sad that I’m debating on buying this just because Yuji Naka is involved? Please pull me back to sanity in the comments below.
