Sega has announced a standalone rebalanced version of Virtua Fighter 5 coming to Xbox Live Arcade and Playstation Network. This includes a complete overhaul of the mechanics, balance and animations. There will also be new modes, new arenas and two (old) new characters: Taka-Arashi and Jean Kujo.
I think this is a brilliant move made by Sega, since there aren’t too many 3D fighters on the digital market place so far. This would also mean it will be released at a lower price and will get a lot of attention from newcomers!
