So, a little thing called San Diego Comic Con happened this past weekend, and it’s kind of a big deal, due in no small part to the various panels that take place during the event. One of these panels centered around Blake J. Harris’ Console Wars, the recently released book chronicling the 1990s Sega vs. Nintendo throwdowns that you should all totally check out, and included a lot of the main event players from the era, including former Sega of America CEO Tom Kalinske.
While it’s not as cool as actually being in the building for the panel, the good folks over at SEGAbits got VIP treatment and were allowed to film and upload the panel for those of us who couldn’t make it to the event. It’s not a long panel, clocking in at just over 40 minutes, but it’s well worth a watch for anyone who’s checked out the book or has a passing interest in picking it up.
