Personally, the casino style levels have always been my favourite of the Sonic games. That’s why I’m excited to present to you, the trailer for Sonic the Hedgehog 4’s casino level appropriately titled ‘Casino Street’. So if you like casinos and streets you’ll probably love the above trailer. Also apparently the Act 2 of this stage was just a pinball level, but was changed to be more magic card focused instead. All I can say to that is, it sounds like they made the right choice by changing it.
I must have watched the trailer above a great deal of times now. That just looks really fun and despite still being a tiny bit skeptical about the full game, it is winning me over with each trailer they release. What about you? This stage reminds me of the casino stage in Sonic the Hedgehog 2 for the Sega Genesis.
Looks pretty sweet to me. It seems as if the layout is very non-linear and vertical, which I definitely like. Yet, at the same time, the speed looks to be intact.
Also, love the new/retro “SEYYYY-GAHHHHH” logo. Hopefully they stick with that for the future!
Whoa, epic nostalgia going here. This is perfect! I’m glad they brought this back. This definitely shows that they know what the hell they’re doing. Another check mark added. I also hope that card-running thing at the end is in the level, cause that is badass.
Don’t enjoy the 3Dness of it actually. It kind of weirds me out how he pops out against the more 2Dish background. Just really confuses me.
