The Weekly Contest: Phantasy Star Universe Edition

Presenting the winners of last week’s contest:

Phantasy Star Collection for GBA – Daguru77

Sonic Adventure XBLA – Skrams, Jayred Potter, Sanaj, & Atarifever

Congratulations everyone! You can expect an email from me soon.

Up this week is a copy of Phantasy Star Universe for Xbox 360, and two inflatable rappies, which, can be seen in the header above. Cute aren’t they?

There will be three winners drawn this week so get commenting!

How to enter:

It’s simple really. At the end of each week (Saturday night), all of the comments left on any post on the site will be totaled up. Every comment you leave gives you one chance to be drawn as the winner of that week’s prize. So, the more commenting you do the better chance you have to win, but you do have a small chance of winning even if you only leave one comment that week.

Comments that are not relevant to a post will not count. They also have to have substance. Just saying “Awesome” on every post will get you nowhere, son. As long as you’re praising the author for a job well done, asking a question, adding some information, or even debating against one of the author’s points, your comment will count.

At the end of each week the comments will reset. Even if you left a bunch one week, you’ll have no entries unless you leave more the next week. But just think if you’re a big commenter you could potentially win four games a month! Wowza!

  1. Well I meant to win Phantasy Star for GBA but a Sonic Adventure code for a friend wouldn’t hurt.
I never played PSU but I did play Phantasy Star Episode 1 and 2 on Gamecube. Also inflatable raffies look awesome 😀

  2. Ah, not on that list. Gratz everyone! Already have the game for Phantasy Star Universe for 360, I still need to play it. It would be an easy 1000 gamerscore if I do it.

  3. Daaaaayyy-um. Congrats, though, guys. If nobody ends up claiming those Sonic codes, I can be bribed.

I too already have PSU, and I too also haven’t played it outside of the demo. Every time I sit down to play it I end up firing up PSO on the DC instead…why mess with perfection?

Is it really an easy 1000 gamerscore, though? Do you need to subscribe to be able to get it all? I think it’s insane the monthly cost people pay to play these kind of MMORPGs online, especially on top of the XBL subscription. Especially when PSO on the DC is completely free today.

  4. You can get 1000 just by playing the story and there is an additional 250 for the MMO part.

  5. Sweet, got Sonic adventure… Now for what console is this again?

  6. @Jayred – Its on XBLA so Xbox 360

  7. @Alex Riggen – Yeah, I still don’t own a 360. So please give the code away to someone else. Thanks

  8. D’aaaaawwwwww. So doing this.

  9. Congratulations to the winners.
