Retro dumpster diving

One lucky Greek gamer has uncovered a Sega treasure. While walking with a friend last month, blogger Cubilone located 5 boxes of Sega Mega Drives and 6 boxes of Game Gears in a dumpster near a local toy store. Cubilone made the find after seeing a Mega Drive box peeking out of the dumpster. The boxes were intact, albeit covered in dust. The fate of the consoles has not yet been decided.

Lucky bastard! The only game find I had this week was a copy of The Lion King on the Genesis for $1 at Goodwill. Have you had any good finds as of recent?

  1. Funnily enough, I actually had a bunch of old Dreamcast games liberated by my dad from a box in the loft. MVC2,Power Stone, Shenmue.. the classics.

Also in there however were my EU copies of Grandia II and Skies of Arcadia. SCORE! No idea where Outtrigger went, but damn, that couldn’t have been much better honestly.

  2. Nice finds, Alex! Shenmue is a classic that I must revisit. Hopefully your Outrigger will show up.
