As Japan continues to recover from last week’s tsunami and earthquake, Sega has announced additional charitable help. From today through March 20, 100% of all sales of Sonic the Hedgehog games on iOS will be donated to the Red Cross. As an incentive, prices on the games have been reduced:
- Sonic Spinball: $0.99
- Sonic the Hedgehog: $1.99
- Sonic the Hedgehog 2: $2.99
- Sonic the Hedgehog 4- Episode 1: $3.99
I am glad to hear that Sega will be continuing their recovery efforts in addition to their donation of proceeds from Football Manager Handheld 2011. If you have been debating a Sonic purchase on iOS, it certainly looks like the perfect time to do so. Will you be purchasing a Sonic title to assist with Japanese recovery?
