Recent sales figures show Yakuza 4 was the best selling game in Japan in 2010 for the Playstation 3. It sold 577,199 units in 9 months. Those numbers may not sound mind blowing but for reference Gran Turismo 5 only sold 563,378.
The game came in 16th on the top selling games lists of Japan in 2010.
