So we’ve got our first look at Episode 2 in action. This trailer shows off some of the new locales, a redesigned sprite for Sonic, the Sonic and Tails teamup system, and gives us a first listen to the soundtrack, which is decidedly different from Episode 1’s (and in my opinion, in a very good way).
Still, I’m not sure I’m as excited for this as I should be, especially coming off how amazingly Generations handled 2D Sonic compared to Episode 1. What about you folks? Tell us in the comments.

It looks amazing, but I am so jaded from awesome trailers now that I never know what to think about a game before I get playtime with it. coughdeadislandcough
I find it interesting that the icon in the corner is Sonic and Tails together. And was that some sort of team attack at the end? Because Sonic Heroes pulled that off so well.
Oh but I jest. On a positive note, I saw glimpses of what looked to be a Marble Garden homage, which I FULLY SUPPORT. ^_^
