Hideki Kamiya of Platinum Games was recently asked a question on Twitter about the possibility of DLC for his new game The Wonderful 101. He replied that any DLC won’t be necessary, since the game will have enough content on its own.
Platinum Games made some pretty good DLC packs for Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, but if Hideki Kamiya believes The Wonderful 101 does not need any, then so be it. I trust him to make a complete game that doesn’t need to receive DLC support in order to be good.
The Wonderful 101 will hit stores on 23rd August in Europe and 15th September in North America.

Imagine that, a game that doesn’t need DLC. It sounds so foreign now, I guess that’s the really sad part.
It does sound kinda refreshing for a game not to have some unnecessary DLC.
