Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown is a new downloadable-only title in the long running Virtua Fighter series, which is heading to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Makoto Osaki and Daichi Katagiri from AM2 talk a bit about the history of the franchise and what’s special about Final Showdown. This is also the start of a trailer series, so we’ll have more trailers for this game soon. Nice to see it’s getting some attention, because after the initial announcement trailer, Sega had become silent about it. Let’s not forget that there are rumors flying around, saying news of a Virtua Fighter 6 aren’t too far off either.
Personally, I’m very excited for this game. The last Virtua Fighter I enjoyed was the fourth one on PlayStation 2 and I hope this can recapture my love for the franchise!
