The Sega Saturn version of Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain was 100% complete at the time of cancellation, according to research carried out by NeoGAF user Mama Robotnik. His in-depth report digs up information on not one, but ten planned, yet unreleased Legacy of Kain games including a sequel to Sega Mega Drive hidden gem Chakan: The Forever Man.
His evidence of the existence of a completed Sega Saturn version of Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain comes in the form of an editorial on a now-defunct Saturn fan site in which the author claims to have played an unreleased version of the game during the late 90’s.
Mama Robotnik also pointed out an old article from Next Generation Magazine which also states that the Saturn version was complete, but that no publisher could be found to back it.
Confusingly, Silicon Knights stated on their official Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain FAQ that the rumour of a completed Sega Saturn version was just that — a rumour.
Do you think a completed version of Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain for the Sega Saturn is out there somewhere? Would you want to play it? Let us know by leaving a comment below!

Oh wow, that would have been so awesome. If it’s true, then it must be found somehow!!!
If this is true then I’m sure the final code would be found somewhere eventually. It’s happened with quite a few other games and I would love to play the first Legacy of Kain game on a Sega console.
I’d love to play the first Legacy of Kain game, period!
