New trailer showcases the transformations, summons and heroines of the Neptune RPG.

Okay, this is technically -still- import news, but as I understand it an official confirmation that NISA are localising it is barely a prinny throw away. So before we have to redraw the map again, here’s the latest trailer of Chou Jigen Game: Neptune, which may or may not be titled ‘Super Dimensional Game: Neptune’ when we finally hear the good news.

Unfortunately, there do still seem to be some hold overs from previous Idea Factory/Compile Hearts games, for one thing they STILL have the same explosion sound they’ve been using since Cross Edge,, but I can easily say that this is the best looking game they’ve produced. There are only four playable characters this time around, enough for a whole party, so hopefully if they’re focussing less on quantity what’s left ought to be pretty good. I hope. Trinity Universe was just barely above average.

To make up for the lack of party members however there are a number of transformations the characters can go through which are showcased above, and admittedly do look pretty damn neat. Still, I don’t think anyone can be blamed for being apprehensive given their previous efforts.
