At the DEAL 2012 trade show in Dubai, Sega has unveiled a new arcade racing game, K.O. Drive. Not a lot of details have been revealed but through the screenshots it appears to be a standard Sega arcade racer… but this time with upgradeable guns and weapons. That’s enough to sell me. In fact, it kind of reminds me of an arcade take on Sega’s console only racing series, Full Auto, which I had a lot of fun with in the early days of the Xbox 360.
No officially announcements have been made as to when the game will be released and in what territories but it is being tested in a few UK locations. The game was stated to be 80% complete so it shouldn’t be too long until the game is ready to go. For more screenshots and details check out Arcade Heroes feature on the game.
