While some, or maybe most, or maybe even everyone can agree that the Sonic OVA in its Western form is a relic of Sonic’s past better left forgotten, youtube user Chaofanatic decided to modernise the Sonic – Metal Sonic fight scene using Valve’s super flexible Source Filmmaker.
The result is a a short, but entirely watchable and somewhat entertaining video that really goes to highlight the potential of Source Filmmaker when put in the hands of the imaginative Sonic fan. Hopefully this is a sign of things to come, and that many more Sonic videos such as this will be on the way pretty soon.
