Sega Europe has no update on Phantasy Star Online 2 Western release

It’s been a long time since Sega announced the Western release of Phantasy Star Online 2over a year ago in fact — yet fans have heard virtually nothing regarding the release despite the game’s success in Japan and other, English speaking Asian territories.

However, after over a month of emailing, Sega Addicts was finally able to get some info on the Phantasy Star Online 2 situation from Sega Europe’s Senior PR Executive Sarah Head. When asked of the status of the game’s release in North America and Europe, Head had the following to say,

I am afraid I have no update on the matter.

Head’s brief comment will undoubtedly confirm the suspicions of many disgruntled Phantasy Star fans — that Western Sega divisions have no bloody clue about Phantasy Star Online 2 whatsoever.

I tried Shiggidy, I tried.

  1. Oh hey, look at all those other awesome sci-fi MMOs out there on the Vita! Good thing I have those to tide me over instead of Phantasy Star!

  2. Hahaha, thanks! I’m over it now, just going to pretend its not coming. Schools back in session so it’s probably best not to have something so time consuming :p

P.s. looked up white nice and midget gems. The white nice sound delicious, and the gems look like juju bees, which are extremely chewy (and stick to your teeth), but pretty tasty.
