Earlier we reported on Sega and BBC partnering to create an interactive zoo and museum named Orbi. That museum is now open in in the city of Yokohama. The museum features content produced by the BBC and technology produced by Sega.

The opening featured special guest Yuichiro Miura. Yuichiro became the oldest person to climb Mt. Everest when he did it at age 80.

The center of the museum features a ring shaped theater called Orbi. The screen measures 8 meters (26.2 feet) high and 40 meters (131.2 feet) wide. The screen is one of the largest in Japan and surely creates an impressive panoramic view.
