The release of Sonic Lost World is almost here, so I think now would be a good time for lucky Wii U owners to decide how they want to purchase the game – by getting a retail disc or by downloading an eShop version. Personally, I still prefer boxed copies of my games, but if you’re okay with buying the game digitally, then you might want to know information on file sizes of Sonic’s new adventure on both Wii U and 3DS.
The Wii U version will need 8.37GB of free space, while the 3DS one will need 10,253 blocks (which is roughly 1.25GB). As you can see, both digital versions are pretty heavy, so make you sure you have enough space on your console before buying the game.
