Oh dear, it’s that time of the year again! Steam has started a summer Sale, which means a lot of games are on sale at the moment. Sega’s entire catalogue is now down by 33%. This includes all the Sega Genesis games on there, the Total Wars-series, Alpha Protocol, Alien versus Predator as well as the Dreamcast collection and some of the Sonic games! While you’re at it, don’t forget to join the Sega Addicts Steam group! This sale is active until July 10th, but we’ll keep you posted about individual sales on Sega games!

Until I get to 100% own my game, I’ll never embrace the Steam model of gaming. In every case I’d rather have the physical version. And plus, playing on a console guarantees that you’ll be able to play the game without fault on a working console years from now. With computers there is never a set standard, so there is no guarantee X game will play on Y operating system or video card.

But, uh, good deal for those looking. 🙂

That’s the main reason I don’t jump on these deals, I probably won’t be able to play them anyways. And for the classic Sega games….I…..er….already play them somehow…..*whistles*
